No Weight

Someone please tell me what's going on... I have been in the coop for a month and have yet to get any weight or any impressions. My home has a measly pr of 3 but isn't that why people participate anyway? None of the sites my coop links show even have any page rank. Argh... my site is veracitek.com. As far as I can tell my link hasn't rotated at all, no backlinks, no referrals in my stats.

    Thanks.

you need to run the ads on all pages of your site, and that is not what you are currently doing. hence why no weight. are you even validating?

...My site validates fine and the sponsor link is on every page. I have clicked about 15 of the ads on my site and not one of them had any co-op links at all so I don't know how you can tell me that I have to have them on all of my pages.

Wendy, is your site validating?? Showing 0 weight for me...

And Il see some tiny links spamming all the footer of the veracitek site, are those the coop ads?

What I see when I go to the veracitek site is a link from bottom of every page to a links page. The problem is as Wendy pointed out ads must show on every page, which is not the same as there is a link to ads on every page.

    Good luck correcting the problem.

Yes, the 5 links that appear on your adPage.php must appear on ALL pages of your site. (they don't have to be banners, you can go with text links). I only see an ad link on that one page.

Also, people can serve ads from site A and point their ads at site B. So the sites you go to by clicking ads may not be the ones people serve ads from.

i can tell you that for two reasons. one, it's in the TOS so it's the rules. and two, you can run ads TO sites that don't run ads. run ads on site A and use that weight to point to site B

Okay then, so I can put all of the ads on a completely different site and as long as every page on the site has the ads I'll get weight? What if the site only has 1 page? What if it has a thousand? How is it that I can put it on 1 page as long as it's a different site that only has 1 page? At last glance my ads page gets crawled by spiders 30+ times a day, I thought the point of the coop was to get back links, not to cover my pages with crap like that darn porn site that keeps showing up about every 10 refreshes. So for the last month I've been feeding backlinks to the coop and not getting squat in return other than PR leak. Real nice.

    those aren't porn sites.

and the point of the co op is an ad network, not just backlinks, hence the point of having them on all pages.

i'm glad you got it to work

Is it possible to point weight from several sites without creating several accounts?
