Need help, very poor stats.

Ok let me explain I have a fairly high traffic domain name which recieves over 1000 unique hits a day but I don't have a website up and running yet because I had to shut my old one down (long story)

So I set up a lite version of my site to save wasting all this valuable traffic check it out www.anitude.co.uk I added a few pages so that it stays within googles Terms of service. This is only for a couple of weeks while I finish off my site anyway.

Anyway my problem is really poor statistics, look:

AdSense for content top channels 1,163 13 1.12% US$0.18 US$0.21

Thats shit ain't it? what am I doing wrong? (www.anitude.co.uk) have I placed ads badly or something?

oh yeah and if anybody wants to see my main site so far the better version check it out www.tenph.com its nearly ready!

Implement this. Try making the ad headline text color slightly darker. See how it goes.

 

Adblacklist is a bad idea. Adsense already displays the ads that pay the most. And you're only getting 20 clicks, work on your CTR.

 

How do u work on ctr? im gonna change that header colour 2 darker in a bit

 

By blocking the low paying ones, adsense will display the ads that pay "more"...

 

ARGH why is this so confusing :-(

Seriously though saadah please don't reply to my posts when you havn't even read the topic. You clearly have a poor understanding of english and you are not articulate enough to understand. I clearly stated that I will be releasing the site soon with content on, but I wanted advice on that page to see me through the next couple of weeks. So in future read posts properly before making stupid comments.

saadahmed007 has nailed it - stop wasting time here & put together some content. Make it worth reading, make each page 300 - 500 words & keep adding pages steadily over time. Believe it or not, its just that easy.

 

I guess i cant really hel you since i got worse stats the YOU! LOL! But anyway first you need content ( i know... your working on it ) then you need to blend in the adsense with the site which your are doing ok in..

 

I can understand english and i was just giving a friendly suggestion..Of course your stats should be poor with that poor page..Add some content first dude then put adsense...

I just thought I could use the 1500+ unique hits I get a day to make some revenue whilst my site is being finished... Thats all...
