I get 20-30 spam emails in my box every day from same source with message:"if you good moderator you don't kill my message". This started to happen after I clicked one link from that email. Report spam button don't work. Any idea what to do?
You should mark those messages as spam to move them away from your inbox and then visit www.spamcop.com and follow their directions to stop such spammer.
Can't you just dedicate a folder for messages from that email? I don't use gmail, but it can be done in Hotmail.
That is why I never deal with Yahoo, Gmail, Hotmail, etc. type emails services. Those corporations will never do what it takes to stop spam.
I faced the same problem.. Tag these messages as report spam and go to the spam folder and click on the delete forever button...do this regularly for some three or four days and these messages stop..they did for me. However you will keep receiving other spam though..spammers are pretty clever I guess
I found out that I receive spam from contact us page on site I sold 1 year ago. New owner didn't update contact info and I can't do anything. And "report spam" don't work. I am freaking out of it.
Why dont you try putting in a filter (available just next to the button "Search the Web"). With this initially u mite have to moniter, your spam box but after a while its gonna be fine. A little pain is better than everydays frustration.
Thanks, I just created filter. I think it should be fine now since all spam emails contain same sentence: "Hi, if you good moderator, you don\'t kill my message "
it's funny, i never get any spam in my inbox in gmail, it all goes directly into the spam folder. i heard once that if you keep gmail open all day long then some spam will end up in your inbox, but if you log in and out it will be correctly identified as spam and end up in the spam folder.
