Not sure what we did wrong but it appears that sometime over the wekend our IP address has been blocked.

I would be grateful if you could unblock it (83.217.99.170 - 175) - and would be even more grateful if you could tell me what we did wrong so that we can make sure it doesn't happen again.

    Thanks in advance.

Are you using a modified ASP version of the code?

No. Using our own jsp implementation - it's been working fine for many months but has suddenly gone funny - the ad txt file is dropping old ads as it should but is unable to get new ones so gradually the number of ads available for display has dropped to zero.

Normally when sites get blocked it is for making excessive calls to the DP server for new ads, I guess only Shawn can confirm its blocked and unblock it but I would presume there is a reason for it.

Yep... logs show the ad server blocked it because it was not caching ads (making too many queries to the ad network server).

Also, if ads are being dropped after it was not able to get a new one, I can tell you just from that it's not working the same as the PHP version.

Why don't you make a PHP script that the ASP can read it stright from your server without the *.txt file like link-vult

There is nothing stopping people making the unsupported ASP versions to use the same file format as the PHP version.

Hi Shawn (I guess you're the only one can do this)

We have updated our system to use the xmeta.com jsp solution which seems to be working by common agreement.

Could you please unlock my IP address (83.217.99.170 - 175).

    My apologies for the hassle.

We are using .jsp so unfortunately need a jsp solution.

Could you please unblock me now Shawn - we have updated to xmeta.com solution - our IP address is in the range 83.217.99.170 - 175.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Shawn

This is your reply from a few days ago so I guess you found at least one of these addresses blocked - as far as I can see we still can't collect any ads from the IP addresses:

    83.217.99.170 - 83.217.99.175

    Thanks
