I know u cannot place adsense on registration page, but i have a banner on the header of my forum (same position as on DP) and it does, of course, show up when one is coming to register, so roughly speaking it does show up on registration page. is it prohibited? i dont know how to disable it on a particular page as it's sitewide, and even tho i have alternative "colour" to fill the space when there are no relevant ads, the ads still do show up. any ideas what to do? thanks!
Wow! That was such a good post. You took the initivate to mail google to find out yourself? I think that's very good. I've given you green rep too! I was very curious to find the answer out myself, since sometimes you can't change the codes to have it appear only on certain pages. Now you know.
If ever something like this comes up on any forum I mod or post on, I will email Google to get the definitive answer.
You should check out ThankYouPages to monetize registration pages. Even though looks like adsense are ok with it i don't see the point of linking away from your registration page with adsense when your trying to get them to stay and sign up.
Dude are you on drugs? This is OFFICIAL confirmation from GOOGLE that it is not in breach of their T&C. If Google were to ban me, then a simple forwarding of this email would mean they HAD to re-instate the account as they have given prior agreement to its use. 'some Becky' made me smile that. Google don't hire any old 'some Becky's' and it took 2 weeks to get the reply also!
Thanks for this thread I was wondering about this, I think I will still keep ads of registration page for now though, like other said I want people to stay to register and also I want ctr to not drop.
