Site Review - Delisted from Yahoo!

Ok, so yeah, I was going great and then bam, gone from the Yahoo! index. www.riderinfo.com

I wrote YPN!, they say we are in full compliance.

I wrote the index people and got a letter indicating I may have too many affiliate links.

I don't understand it though, we have nofollow on the links.

Google and ASK love the sites.

So I asked on the Yahoo! Search blog too. http://suggestions.yahoo.com/detail/?prop=SiteExplorer&fid=7918

Anyone have a suggestion here for this contradition? I'm stumped.

    Thanks

Yahoo's sad inability to re-review sites is pathetic. I have a site that was delisted. No affiliate links at all. Google and MSN love the site. I was #1 in yahoo forever, then, poof gone. Filing a re-review didn't help. The guy couldn't tell me why it was gone, it just was. And that they'd take a look at it, but nothing, of course.

I've heard other seo's say that if you are gone in yahoo, its a tough road to hoe, and getting back in is damn near impossible. I don't think real search is their primary function - getting people to sign up for ysm is. I never noticed a huge decrese in traffic after being dropped, so I don't sweat it too much.

Thanks for the reply. I'm trying to shake the tree. If others post on the blog, maybe they will see that the process needs attention.

Cant you sue them and argue its impacting on trade and business? because tchnically it is, that should shake them a bit even if you threaten to sue them that may help.

I'm not going to try and mount a legal move. Talk about David and Goliath!

I'm mearly shaking trees to see if I can get a better expaination or even better yet, the two policies equalized.

There are cheaper and safer ways to get around this in the big picture. I'm looking for options before any major changes though.

    I have no suggestions, sorry.

Each Yahoo! "service" or product I've used has ended up PISSING ME OFF. Usually to the point where I will no longer use it.

Yahoo! Mail- giant ads and horrible privacy policy

Yahoo! Search Marketing (Overture) PPC- Horribe Cust. Srvc., horrible UI, non-existant click fraud protection, FRAUDULENT search partners and an annoying spam/direct mail/telemarketing campaign

Their directory is a joke. And the "sponsors" program's billing procedures are whacked.

And their actual search results are stale and irrelevant.

I'm cashing a decent check from YPN! and PPC. However, it's not worth it to send traffic from my site to Yahoo!/YPN customers if i can't get some in return from the Yahoo! index.

The thing I'll do at this point would be replacing the PPC. I've been second guessing having it on the forum for about 3 months now.

Thanks for taking a look. Yesterday it was like 5 or 7 deep pages with no descriptions in site explorer.
