What is weight?

I have no idea what weight even is or how it works. I tried searching google but all I got was lose weight now...Can someone help me out?

It is basically the amount of "power" you have within the network

 

I really didn't find anything about weight on that page.

 

It is a calculation of:
PR
Number of Pages Indexed
Number of Ads

That weight determines how often your own ads are shown

 

How can I view my weight or change it? How do I know my max weight?

 

Have you signed up and validated?

Then your weight will be displayed there.

As far as changing it for the better you can:
Get Google to index more pages
Get a higher PR (see this forum for tips although basically you need more links to you)
Put up more ads (5 is the limit)

 

How can I get a signature? I have 10 posts yet I don't see it in the control panel.

 

You just hit 10 a minute ago, give it a bit of time

 

Then it will be in the cp?

 

Yes, sometimes it takes a few minutes
