Whats a good market to get into??

Hello, I'm just starting out creating my own sites but I'm a bit baffled at which market or type of site would be most profitable..

Gambling Sites?
Weight Loss Site?
Forums?
Video Hosting Sites?
Product Review Site?



What do you guys suggest?

 

What are your personal interests?

 

computer games, programming, flash, web design..

 

Try and find a niche if you can.
I run a free directory and the number of new sites can be staggering.
Porgramming is always in some demand.

 

If you don't know then I suggest the only market you try for now is the supermarket!

Any market can work, providing you have something to provide in terms of knowledge, interest and persistance!

 

1) Write a list of subjects you're interested in.
2) Do some keyword reseach on Word Tracker to find a niche within your list of subjects.

to me video hosting is a good market you have to get into. you can see nowadays that video is already a must for all advertiser to market their product. not only that, all teens are eager with video.

What do you know about and love?
Pick something that you're passionate about and build a great resource.
Don't even think of trying to develop an income stream until at least the six month mark.
If you're site's a leader in its field you'll manage to develop an income stream from it then.
You're thinking about it backwards by trying to enter a market that you don't know about or is already popular.

 

What does this mean

heyoman: If you dont have money and experience, then iyou should not work on an are you are not experienced with. Start with sometihng you really know and want to spend soem time on it. Once you are successfull with it, you can hire people to develop new websites in other areas..

 

Best thing to get into is anything that you are passionate about. It's that simple, do what you know and love.

 

I would suggest going with what you know. The more you know about a particular topic, and the more you enjoy that particular topic, the easier you will find it to create unique content, and content in general to help improve your site.

 

You can create hosting site for weight loss lovers and give extra discount for everyone who place gambling popunders that will lead visitors to forum where are videos about product reviews?

 

Funny you should mention weight loss sites. I have a little experience in this field and i really think you could make something of it, and also as you can see in my signature i have actaully developed a PHP script for someone to run their own weight loss site. So as i have a little experience in the weight loss area, i would say go with that, especially in the UK as that sort of thing is always on the news.

 

Do what you are good at, do something different that other people are'nt doing at this point.

 

Being unique is a good way to start and sustain whatever you're interested in.
