More Visitors?

How can I manage to get more visitors to my site? Right now my current site is http://bryansrants.com/. I realize my site isn't oriented on just one thing and that could be a problem, however I would really like to get more readers than my friends.

Any help would be great.

 

Post something controversial. Post something useful. Optimize it reasonably well.

I just took someone's advice and finally signed up with www.mybloglog.com and that's already helping with traffic too.

only what kind of promotions have you done to draw more people to your site?

have you done link exchange, submit you site to as many directories as you can, submit to social networking sites etc.
just let us know here what promotions have you done...

 

I haven't done any promotions. A lot of those sites, imho, don't do much to get you visitors.

 

Post something that will help your readers
If you can, comment on other people's blogs too. If they like your content, you've formed a base there...
