Well, I wasn't worried about the fact they look alike. What I noticed was proxy99.info is redirecting to proxycab.com.

I was trying to figure out how a proxy site only used 2-3 MB bandwidth a day and got any traffic at all. Now I know.

The fact that it is using only 2-3MB bandwidth a day is that people are not watching p*rn videos, downloading stuff and last, this site hasnt been hotlinked by far. :) All the traffic is coming from topsites and valid links on my other proxy sites. I will be retaining the link to the site on my whole proxy network so that there is no change in traffic. :)

Please feel free to ask any questions here or via PM.

You site has a problem when surfing. It surfs through proxycab.com. proxy99.info is just acting as a portal page.

Yes, that was just done to conserve bandwidth. ProxyCab.com is also owned by me. It is upto the buyer to leave it as it is or put a CGI file of his own. :)

Yes, nice of you to lie about the 2mb-3mb because it "hasn't been hotlinked"... you knew it was being redirected through proxycab.... not very moral of you now is it

You will be looking at around 1GB a day, an estimate based on my proxies... it's not bandwidth you have to worry about, 50Gb, even 100GB isn't much, it's CPU and RAM you need. You would required a VPS to run it, which is around $40+ a month.... so $50 revenue minus $40 expense...

Wow, I get around 5000 uniques a day and chew through only 10GB or so a day :)

PHProxy though, CGIproxy uses less bandwidth but alot more CPU and RAM

I am not lying about anything. It must have been a fault on my part because I just copied/pasted the source code of proxy99 from that of proxycab and I might have forgotten to edit the CGI part. That inturn can save bandwidth. And that is not something to lie about.

I have been in the proxy scene for a while and know how things work. If the buyer wants, I can provide FREE hosting for 1 month whatsoever be the bandwidth load. :) I myself didnt care to check that it was using proxycab's CGI so yes, I admit I made a mistake but I am not lying about anything whatsoever.

If you feel that I am lying then no problem.

And yes, the total usage on PROXYCAB.com is only 300-400MB per DAY and not 5GB per day. I can PM you proof about that. :)

You said it uses 2mb-3mb a day because it hasn't been hotlinked. It actually uses 2mb-3mb a day because it uses proxycab.

If that's not a lie what is it?

No it can't, bandwidth is bandwidth, browsing is browsing. It uses the same amount of bandwidth no matter.

Except for the fact you were misleading buyers...

No need to PM me that, just post it out here. I would not be surprised, CGIproxy is known to use less bandwidth than PHProxy but be use alot more CPU and RAM.

Rochow, I appreciate you taking part in my sales and helping me out.

I am just trying to convey that I didnt "lie" and this thing was not intentional.

I know I have made mistakes in the past but that doesnt mean you'll continue to accuse me of things which haven't been done intentionally.

As I said earlier, I myself wasnt aware of the code error since I had to make a layout for proxy99 quickly (I think you know the reason for that). :)

As I said earlier in one of my posts in this thread, the buyer can just choose to make the proxy work through proxycab's CGI file and I would not have a problem with that. THAT will save bandwidth for the buyer.

I'm sorry for all the confusion guys.
