Add your link for free, PR3 directory

This is my first attempt at a directory, so please bear with me.

If I am missing a category for your website (which invariably I will be, as I haven't added nearly everything that should be there yet), just let me know what I should add by replying with something like:

Top Category:Suggested Category, so if you think i need to add water polo to the sports category, just say

Sports:Water Polo

No reciprocal link required, yada yada yada

Cheers. Just submitted six although, as you say, wasn't sure of the category and also wasn't sure where to enter a suggested category so i just put them in a main one.

also, since i'm new to this, i might as well ask...how is directory promotion different than normal website promotion? what are the best ways to grow the number of links within the directory? etc

 

Thanks, submitted site... Had a bit of a problem with the security code. My eye-site must be failing, I was having problems reading it.

 

Make and enforce rules. List with info.vilesilencer.com. Announce on other boards and to directory submission services. Don't waste time with 95% of those that don't waste time reading your rules.

 

i'm not sure i know what you mean by rules, and i'm also not sure how that goes to creating a robust directory...but i'm interested in knowing what you mean!

 

Thanks for the link, just a small suggestion: the verification code is hard to read. O (Oooh) and 0 (Zero) are almost the same. and you might want to put the input field below the image, I use TAB to go from field to field and when I enter the verification field, the picture is not completely visible (yeah I know: buy a higher resolution monitor, but still)

Added two sites. Would suggest "personal finance" category under Home or Business. Couldn't put suggested category on submit form.

-btw you should enable url rewrite in the config section to get the nice clean url category names instead of index.php?c=12

 

I haven't submitted yet but I will. I just want to say you have a very clean looking directory.

 

I submitted one... I like he way it saves your name and email if your submitting again....
