Our house will be glued to the TV for the next week watching the games - great opening ceremony. I live in Sydney and can (no joke) actually see the Olympic Stadium from our front yard (2000 Olympics) WOW. Go the Aussies... Aussie! Aussie! Aussie!
Hi, I was completely ignorant about the Olympics before I saw the Google logo I only was spots when I am out drinking with my buddies, I almost never watch TV, but I have a taped collection of "Space: Above and Beyond" that I sometimes put into the VCR. My wife buys DVD's all the time and sometimes we see a movie togheter. I heard someplace that the average american male are spending 30 hours a week watching sports and almost any 40 year old male american knows the complete baseball statistics by heart. 30 hours are almost half of a working week so it is alot.
I have a hard time believing anybody even cares about the olympics anymore. Then again, I don't have any interest in sports. It just seems so boring to me. I'd rather watch grass grow
SEO is pretty much an olympic sport. Although you do try and win more often than once every four years. But the #1 spot is as valuable as a gold medal! The real deal would be more interesting (well, the female side of it for me then) if they went back to the old days and played naked like they used to. Just like Naked News I bet it will get some added attention Not sure if it will improve performance at the high jump, or that it would look nice on the 100m sprint.
Naked News makes everyone feel olympic. Well I'm hoping the Aussie 4x 100 mens freestyle team beat the Yankee team again (it's on in about 6 hours). Earlier in the heat, the South Africans almost beat the world record set by the Aussies at the 2000 Sydney olympics. Should be a good race. Any RSA's out there?
I don't watch sports anymore, but I just know I will be forced to watch my country's group sports team (watepolo, volleyball, bascetball etc.). MY frieds make a ritual out of wathching the games, so I'm stuck.

I was not happy when our basketball team was beaten by Spanish team. and I then heard of the frustration on the American basketball,too. I keep the TV on with a loud voice while before my pc at home tonight. Olympics are the most significant even now.
