What is the meaning of auto blog ?

I mean, if you using RSS feed and something auto update program such as FeedWordPress, yes, it can feed the posts and abstracts to your blog, However, FINALLY, the traffic will go back to the original source if a vistor clicks on it.

So how can you make money from those blogs ? and as I know, duplicated content will blocked by Google and other blog search engines.

Can any body teach me how to make money with such auto blogs?

I am currently write contents by myself, just tried FeedWordPress today and really confused

 

As far as I can tell, FeedWordPress would be used for a compilation website, not as an autoblogger.

If you want an autoblogger, try WP Autoblog

 

WP Autoblog is the ugly cousin of Feed Wordpress.

Anyhow there is a setting in FWP to link to your website but getting traffic / money from these is a very delicate situation. I have studied, tweaked, and practiced the art for over a year now.

In what ways? I have only had the time to make use of WP Autoblog

 

It's just poorly thought out and poorly written code. For instance it likes to ping the update services to death where FWP wraps the pings into a nice bow and sends them once regardless of how many posts.

 

Does FWP allow you to specify which category to file the blog posts under? And if you have multiple feeds can you select multiple categories? That's one big gripe I have with WP Autoblog.

 

So....can we conclue as AUTO BLOGS ARE MEANIINGLESS for money, it may only for some body as a personal interest ?

 

Yes, it's in the admin but I haven't played with that part much. I'm sure it works.

You need something a little more advanced than the usual. If you really want to experiment, go to http://www.wordpressbundles.com and download the SEO/SEM bundle.

The only thing it doesn't do for you is set up your cron job.

Just remember, when running the custom installer, you'll need your blog keywords (ie name/tagline), feed URLs, and Adsense Publisher ID to get started.

You can not only select the categories, but if the feeds you are using have their own categories/subjects, it will create them on the fly for you too.

As for making money from aggregators, yes, you can make quite a bit if you understand how, and deploy enough of them.

Where do all of these ideas come from? The traffic we get is on par with SE traffic in terms of value. Do people just make this up and post it as fact or what?

I have a few auto blogs each making $5 a day. Don't expect them to make too much. But the good thing is I don't have to do anything after the initial setup and promotion.
