    Hello!
I am looking for a script to extract email addresses from a list of websites. Or preferably get the list of websites from a web directory and then extract the addresses. What do u suggest?

    Thanks,
    Mike!

NO, I am not a spammer.
I have developed a 'rent a car' directory, and all I want is to email the local 'rent a car' companies to add their site for free.
I am not trying to sell them anything, not asking for money. I guess, most of them will find it interesting.
    Is it that bad?

This is spam my friend. Don't do it.

Instead send them a snail mail which is legal.

Yes and no. There is a method that can be used that isn't illegal yes it faster than snail mail.

I think I have what you're looking for, sleeping deep in my HD.
How much are you willing to pay?
I'll sell it to you if you promise not to spam. Can I trust you?

I got a nuclear missle... Bin laden will you promise not to be naughty with it?

If aplus really was a spammer he would lie and say he wouldn't just to get it so asking that question is useless. And what is this wonder program?:p

All this will achieve is that you will annoy the very people who you should be working with. Don't do it.

    Ring them instead.

It is too easy to code a program like that.

I could do it but I will never do as I don't like to associated with spammers. And that is not because I am a saint, but because I don't want to risk my business name on an act like that.

Even if aplus could convience me that he is not a spammer the answer would be still no.

And I don't really think that aplus is a spammer. Spammers know how the rest of the people react on their messages, especcialy in forums like this :)

Anyway aplus you should know that even if you finally do that, you are risking a lot of things. Getting blacklisted is a really big problem and can cost you a lot of money.
