How can you ever forgive me.

Of course your opinions are important. How silly of me.

Or Alcapulco Gold! Have you heard how expensive good pot is?

Either way, I'm pretty sure both are considered contraband.

Please explain Nopid, what is this elite brotherhood about? How can I join or can I ? What does it mean?

Actually the best weed in the world today is Canadian grown BC skunk weed. Along, long, long time ago Alcapulco Gold was considered the best. One of my buddies goes to Jamaica every year and has for the last 20 years. In the last 5 years it is the Jamaicans now saying 'eh mon you bringen any oo de hydro wich you mon?

Apparently our Canadian weed is dangeriously high in thc content .

I will admit, pot should be legal to the extent that alcohol is. But I still don't think people should use it and that most of the so called medicinal marijuana stuff is crap, but probably not much worse than the meds that they sell to do the same. I say tax the crap out of it to go to rehab and training and for cancer/medical needs from marijauna use only, that way the people who use it will get back from there taxes. LOL

We would have less people in the overcrowded jails for sure, but I would hope that it would lead to the next level like coke, heroine, etc... since maryjane wasn't good enough of a high anymore.

I think one of the worst effect from pot is being so lathargic (sp?) that people become lazy and lose there jobs, and put no effort into their families. The plant rules their lives and everything else becomes secondary just like alcohol, the plant rules the person. SAD...

That can be the effect of any addiction. :/

This is just a thought police mentality to say that. It's just like the previous post that says because some people are losers and can't handle it thus failing in life, makes those that can use in moderation losers.

Nothing could be further from reality.

    I wasn't saying that.

Just saying that there are lots of issues with it that are in reality not much different than alcohol. And yes that changes when someone is addicted versus not addicted. I don't drink because I don't want to cause someone else a problem who has had a drinking problem in life. Personally I wouldn't mind a drink every once in a while, but the last thing I want to do is cause an alcoholic to fall back into it because of me. Many people I know have had problems with it in the past.

My experience with pot was I had a few people around me who used it and they drove me up the wall when they were on it! I ended up just keeping my distance or telling them if they have to smoke it - leave, I hated the attitude and behavior changes it caused. Some of these people did it often and some a couple times a month. (I personally never tried it and am not interested in trying it.)

Changing the rules? Have you read the constitution lately? here, I'll quote it for you.

See anything about going to jail for lighting up a spliff?

Well pot was not that important to them at the time. The constitution made it so that the individual had to make the decision and make sure he/she was responsible about it.

Personal responsibilty went out the window long ago.

I need to say that alcohol in my eyes is a lot worse. I know the talk about "Jesus drank wine, it's ok ... he didn't smoke pot, so it's bad".
But when it comes down to it, alcohol is not good for me, but weed chills me out. I feel guilty when I have one hit on a spliff, but when I get tanked, I don't. I personally believe pot should be legalized. maybe I'm wrong here, but please prove me wrong if I am.

Thought I should add that I am not judging anyone, far from it (sort of an apology if anyone took my other post the wrong way).

To each his/her own. It just struck me as odd that there were this many pages on a topic like this.
