Interesting numbers. Speaking of google, I use their maps api quite a bit -- anyone do much with Yahoo's new Flash-based maps API? I'd be interested to know whether they've had much luck with it, and how it compares to Google's? Obviously it is flash-based not AJAX, but if they do it right, they could expose drawbacks inherit in AJAX.

Mmm... on one of mys site Yahoo traffic is 0,6% of the traffic I get from Yahoo and that's a site with several thousand unique visitors per day. So sorry if I don't believe a word of these numbers, not only that... I see very, very seldom people using Yahoo to look something up or am I just the only one? :D

I agree with you wm007. But it is possible, that Yahoo is indeed increasing. One possible reason of this is the good pay rate in their Ads Program. Also, there are some schools (mostly Asians) that have Yahoo! as their default page for their browser.

Sorry, but I don't see how that relates to search engine traffic, which the numbers relate to. :D

I don't know, haven't checked those 3 billion people out there.

Not many, but this might change. Functions to search in Internet are integrated in different products. As far as Microsoft dominate the operating systems market, there is a very good chance to get bigger in the search market too.

I'm still showing Google beating Yahoo by a 4-1 margin in searches to my website (per StatCounter).

You must have a tiny web site with 1,000 visitors per day or less. :D
    On my site it's Google-Yahoo: 154-1
