Hello , I am about to release my own web directory software that will be a complete free PHP script, and i hope i will beat any other competitors


I am looking to talk with all of you who are offering free templates for PHPld, or others web directories for making a partnership with you.
What i want from you is to also set the templates for my web directory.so we can both get more links.

I don't understand, what are you offering in lieu of the designs?

 

I think it is a good way to first launch the script. let people use it and when there are more and more users of the script, you will naturally see new and more designers, coders and mod developers coming forward. Everything wont happen in a day.

Best thing is to stop worrying and launch the script. Let the people use it

 

I agree with aditya there matey ... you should launch the script first .. and i know it will be a good one

 

Yup , just that i want to also provide it with a nice design, you known?! maybe even let from a setup panel the user to choose his design

Advertising your (PHPld) free template. More downloads, so you will get much more backlinks because your "Designed by SumitBahl" footer?!

 

So are you using SMARTY for templating, if yes then its good idea to keep the variable names similar to phpLinkDirectory so that users can use phpld themes with your script

I can do that , but i don't think it will be really nice idea... Because of copyrights

Okay good luck with the project but i must say, every script however good it is really takes some time to mature. it will have tons of vulnerability which will be spotted by users and probably after lot of work will become really worthwhile.

BTW are u releasing a free script or paid ?

Aditya is right. once you lunch it you can see the gugs if any and make it a perfect software
