I applied for a position a Google Inc.
I was rejected (see the email)...my penny question, if I work for Google Inc. should I quit to Adsense?
Does Google allow been a publisher like insider?

Anyway that does not bother me for now.

Well I don't want to be mean or anything, but if your resume was written in the same manner as this thread of yours, they probably rejected your resume because you can't speak (write) English very well, and since Google is an American company, they probably require mastering of English to work for them at their corporate office in Cali.

Working for Google doesn't appear to be an option for you.

Bad luck on your job rejection. I'm sure that if you get an appointment at Google the contract will explain whether you are allowed to have AdSense or not. There's a list of Googler's blogs here and if you look closely you'll see that none of them display AdSense - that suggests to me that it is banned for Google employees to participate in the program.

I don't think they rejected you because you are an adsense publisher....but if they ever were to offer you a job - take it (I would)!

If that work is for Germany, France, etc., it shouldn't be a problem.
I work for a French multinational and I don't speak (write) french.

Well, for all of the comments about a person's ability to write American English, only CountryBoy seems to be able to read....

The original post said nothing about quitting AdSense because of the application rejection. Nor did it ask if the rejection was about being an AdSense publisher. It also did not ask if the rejection was justified.

It simply asked if a person with an AdSense account would have to give up that account if they got a job with Google. I think the answer is yes. This would be a conflict of interest, so I would guess that employees cannot have an account. Hard to tell unless you know some one that works for them.

Google got about 1 million applicants in 2006 out of the 1 million only 5000 something got hired. Not easy to get a job there.

If you're saying if you can work there AND have an adsense account, i dont see why not but if im wrong someone please correct me.

Google employees can have an adsense or adwords account - although, as an employee, they are required to enter into additional terms to "ensure" no conflict of interest.

So you were planning... work for Google, steal their secrets, wait till you got fired and then use the knowledge you got against them through means of publishing AdSense?

    Nice going. LOL.
