Most effective way to raise your PR?

Well, I've been developping my site since mid/end january, however my PR is still 0. I've been exchanging links with quite a few sites and submitted a new article basicly every day, and im getting around 700+ visits a day. However, my PR wont go up... Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong or what the most effective way is to increase your PR?

    thanks

There will be those who will tell you that with good traffic PR doesn't matter. :D

keep exchanging link and adding your link in Link directory and your PR will raise in next PR update.

to get PR5 or less, only directory submissions are enough

yep swap links but make sure you do so with quality sites which are reasonably similar to yours. :)

Your site should receive PR in the next update :)
In the meantime, concentrate on link baiting.

You've only been at this since the middle of January and you're already complaining??? The next PR update will be in April or May, in case you're wondering.

I think PR update was already done by mid/end January so you have to wait for the next update. Just submit your sites to directories. You will surely gain a PR in the next update.

It is true. PR does not guaranteed web traffic.
