    I think a Reputation is 5 Points instead of 10 now .. is this for everyone or only for me ? :rolleyes:

    The number of rep points added or subtracted depends on the rep power of the person giving rep. Roughly the more green blocks a user has the more that user can affect someones reputation. See reputation sticky in suggestions and feedback.

    I think the rep depends on no. of posts too if 1 has more then 1000 posts and gives someone a rep. then the receiver gets 10 rep points :)

    Really? Cool so if rep you say for example do that count as 10 points in your reps.? I have got few greenies recently from those with +1000 posts but i only got like maybe 8 or 7 reps added.

    I think its more like on your reputation, membership duration and maybe than on posts. Not really sure though.

    Hey also if you give me rep in General Chat Section it counts as 1 point but in other section like adsense etc. i get 10 points

    You start with 1 rep power. It increases by one everytime:

    1) your post count passes the 000 mark.
    2) your membership duration passes 365 days
    3) your green blob increases by 1

    Hey firestorm u got a rep power of 5 in this thread atleast :).

    I think smyrl has a rep of 8ish as i recall when i got one from him.

    @devnin firestorm has rep power of 5 in this thread dunno how it goes in other threads. So what Zerosleep said also counts to power ?

    no, it's 6 points, not 5.
    it's a she. and she has 10-point power.
    in GC, it's a grey unless you ahve a power like mine, in which case it'll count as 1 point.

    Oh but if i remember last night i had 145 points in morning when fire repped it was 150. But could be my rep system messed up :D .
