Where do I rank?

    Hey guys :)

I am just curious if anybody knows of a place that allows you to put in your url and your targetted keyword - and find out where you are placed....

At the moment I am clicking for pages and pages of stuff - to try and find my site....lol.

I have seen ones that tell you if you are in the top 10, but is there something that searches a little deeper?

    Cheers,
    Cindy

THanks :) That was a bit better than the other one - was able to see in a few more locations - not quite as depressing... lol

To only focus on Google rankings, log into your Google sitemap account and you will see the top searches / clicks to your site under the statistics tab :)

I like web position gold for this job. You can set it up to do a lot of stuff for you automatically and it really helps with tracking progress as you promote your site.

There's also a tool right here at DP where you can enter your site/s and keywords and it will show your ranking. It will show your ranking if you are in the top 200 results for your keyword. It also shows the number of backlinks, pages in URL, and PR of your site. If you use it often you will see that it keeps track of your keywords and tells you if you have moved up or down for that keyword.

I find it useful to see where my site is ranking in the US search results, as I see different results from here.

If you want online tools, here is one: Search Engine Position Checker, but it can only check maximum the first 100 results.

If you want a desktop version tool, please go here: Automatic Search Engine Submission Softwares, download any of the tools. They have the option to check the search engine position for a specified keyword. And maximum you can check the first 1000 results.
