important criteria for DMOZ

What is the most important criteria to get into DMOZ? Does the title field have to match the title of your home page, or just be a basic description? Any help much appreciated. Cheers

    Neither of those.

It's always about the website having unique and useful content without being overly user hostile.

The submission form isn't an exam paper that you have to score 70% to pass. We correct unacceptable titles and descriptions and we move submissions if they'd be better listed elsewhere.

1- Be part of editors gang

2- Benefit editors in some way.

3- Do not compete with editor's web site

    4- Pure luck

5- Apply to be an editor. Although it is more likely to get hit by lightning, maybe you will be accepted, and then you can list all your sites in 28 categories and delete all your competitor's sites

When I wrote "DMOZ doesn't owe anyone anything" on one local forum, I almost became a public enemy in the eyes of some :)
