Ive tried several different PCs with different internet connections but the site still loads slowly. Ive been in touch with my hosting providers and they say everything is fine there end. any ideas? you can see the site from my profile if u guys wanna check it out.

I looked at your site, seemed to be OK speedwise. What browser do you use/test the site in, M$ IE? There's display issues with the table of links in Opera and FireFox ;)

Same thing happens to me, although it is always while I use the Opera browser. Google hates Opera.

I think adsense has an algorithm update just recently. Ads showing up seem to be more relevant now.

They may be more relevant lately, but today I am taking a huge hit on CPC. I may be in the red for the first day ever.

I'm having the same problem, both in IE and Firefox. The top section will load (everything above my adsense), then in IE it actually says "done" in the statusbar - in Firefox it says "Transferring data from pagead2.googlesyndiation.com" and both browsers sit and wait for 20 seconds before loading the rest of the site. 20 seconds is way too long for anyone to wait. I'm going to start losing visitors if I don't do something fast. Over at WMW there's a CSS fix for it, but I don't know how much it will fix. I'm going to *gasp* turn off adsense while I work it out.

    Wish me luck.

    EDIT!

After removing the adsense code I noticed it still took a long time at the same spot - right below the adsense code I have StatCounter code from statcounter dot com and they are unavailable - so Adsense is ok.

LOL.. I strongly recomend against using remote counters, or stat tracking programs.. and thats one of the reasons why. Just login to cpanel and get your awstats data ;)

I have been seeing slowness on a couple of my sites and I don't call outside tracking. There seems to be random slowness due to AdSense ads but it isn't enough for me to really complain about it :)
