There aren't many tools that I keep going back to. Digital Point's tools obviously keep me coming back for more. I've noticed a few of you have tools out there too that you developed.

What are some of your favorite tools? (Please provide links).

I'll add to my list later, but these are my favorites. I also use Dreamweaver quite a bit, apache, php, qmail, spamassassin, daemontools, perl, cvs, and tinydns.

 

Digital Points are #1 by far but I also use this free link checker:

and also:

www.googlerankings.com

when I need to find postition over 200 or just one keyword

See, if I listed ALL the tools I use, no one else would be able to post. I figured I would save the obvious ones for others

 

Here's another one I just found, but has already proven very effective:

It's a win32 wrapper for this program:

Basically, it shrinks png files. I had one that went from 250K to 20K! Using this, and a little css, you can use quality transparency masks on your images.

 

I don't like Googlerankings very much, or at least I tend to prefer prsearch.
But googlemonitor is fun, isn't it?

I use McDar's keyword tool daily and I was very depressed when it was off line. Shawn's keyword tracker gets daily use as well. Of course I use our link manager mentioned by yfs1 above as well.

I used to use also, on a daily basis g-metrics.com but now the returned number of indexed pages with the API is 0 or 3... No more the full 300 count... :/
