    see Rama's Bridge

I am wish to share this piece of information that illustrates God is there and man cannot do any thing to the objects that have been created by god

Sethusamudram Shipping Canal Project proposes linking the Palk Bay and the Gulf of Mannar between India and Sri Lanka by creating a shipping canal through the shallow sea sometimes called Setu Samudram, and through the island chain of Rama's Bridge.

Now on January they have started digging the Adams bridge(Ramansethu Bridge -above in the picture)which has believed to constructed by Ram (God Vishnu)during the War with Lanka King
    Adams or Raman sethu Bridge

And on January 23th The (107 tonne) dredger which was involved in dredging work suffered serious damages when trying to break the Raman sethu Bridge constructed by Rama(God Vishnu in his Avatar) and his friends

    source:
    http://www.hinduonnet.com/thehindu/holnus/004200701231521.htm

This illustrates again and again that man cannot do any damages to objects that have been created by god himself

    Also according to Ramanaya Hanuman
the devotee of Rama is still alive as he is known as Chiranjeevi(it means he live all the four yugas according to Hindus)

some say Hanuman will not like anybody who is doing anything against his God Ram or his devotees

So it may be hanuman who might have done this!

This is not a Miracle as you have said..

Rama was an ordinary Human being, and who happened to travel to Lanka in search of his wife. As he is the Yuva Raj of Ayodhya, he is above the common man in stature.. that;s all.

Do you believe this??? Ha ha ha

I do not know whether it is a miracle or not

Ram is a ordinary human being but actually he is avatar of Lord Vishnu

But Its a miracle since this bridge(believing that it has been constructed by god ) can't even be dredged or cut by a 107 tonne dredger(107 tonnes)!

It is nothing more than a sandbank and machines do get broken down in sandbanks.

What I believe is that this incident indicates the incompetency of the crew and nothing more! May be all the crew were "Degree holding engineers" from our "world famous" Institutes?

That area is not man made. it is there as it for centuries. Ram & Party may've made small small links to adjoining islands to use it as a bridge. and the 'puranas' exaggerated it .

Look care fully, these are small islands separated only by 300 meters to 800 meters. It is so all along that stretch between India and srilanka. Ram & party may linked these small islands together to travel smoothly for them. But dont exaggerate that he build a bridge and it cant be broken, it is divine and blah blah blah............

    Are you talking about Galileo?

yes we may use our knowledge that god had given but not in wrong ways

I am not saying this (Sethu samduram project) is a wrong way

There are host of problems (Fisherman, environmental problems) surrounding this
    project!

So, we have divine intervention that intentionally causes "serious damage."

Yeah, by induction, God also made the dredger, I guess :)

God is a genius as he influences our thought in many different ways that we could not decide whether there is actually god or not and whether he made it or not

But in actual some things may have made by himself and others simply not!

Also there are many unasked questions that we could not simply find an answer!

FWS... I'll buy you a domain and some hosting so you could talk all about what you want there dude. But please, don't talk about this stuff on a webmaster forum, its not a nice feeling to see you being degraded among the people.

I don't believe in God, but i do believe human beings. I think that is the most important thing. Who said that it was the God, who created Humans?

compare the picture posted by you and me

and my picture is view taken from aeroplane on the way from Hyderbad to Colombo

There are some huge differences between your picture and mine

    Here is my point

    Yes there are small islands

But The news report says that dredger broke down while trying to dredge the adams bridge (Ramansethu Bridge) only and not these small islands

Also the engineers are not fool to dredge or break small island which is about 1KM width
they would have tried to dredge only 200 metres or 100 metres width of bridge only

also where you took the picture it is widely different from what I have seen in wikimapia

also these islands may be 5kms away from each other

you should know that its hard to build a bridge across 5 kms of sea
