I'm not familiar with that site although it would be interesting to see how much traffic you see compared to being made the Cool Site of the Day

There is a $27 dollar review fee although if you make it in and have AdSense you will more than make it back.

Plus you end up with at least one PR5 link.

We ended up with probably 50 permant one way links, most ranging from PR3 to PR5

Also their newsletter goes out to around 70,000. About 10%-20% seem to actually visit as a result.

    Cheers

This was mine that was accepted:
    Health Age Calculator
Your Health Age is the biological age of your body, based on how well you've maintained it through various measurements and lifestyle behaviours.

Charity SItes seem to do quite well too.

My best tip if you have AdSense is to make sure you use their frame code the day you are featured as otherwise you will have irrelevant ads ;) (I wish someone would have let me know that when I was featured)

lol, I know what you mean. My business sites are not "cool" enough and the cool sites of mine are not ready yet. That's what happens to people with seo tunnel vision a lot

Seems loss of money, if the site is not selected.. atleast they would have given some backlink on some PR3-5 page for $27 :-P

Thats the reason they charge the $27. To stop millions of Spam submissions.

I have talked to a lot of people who have submitted relatively cool sites and never heard that they weren't featured. Basically, $27 is nothing if you believe your site is worthy.

I will also say that my first accepted site was a new subpage so was a PR0. At the update following our feature it was a PR5.

Real online promotion and buzz building costs money ;)

Yeah the site is in light color, to avoid the clutter of bright and dark colors like other stockmarket websites.
