This is really strange. I'm losing money with each click!!

    I've been using adsense for quite a while. But I noticed just today, out of 475 impressions, I got clicks. And each time I get a click the $$ amount to the right is supposed to increase. But this time, this is fiiiing strange. The 4th click reduced it from 16 cents to 10 cents!

    I can't believe it.

    Any explanation ? I suspect foreign traffic is doing something. Any help appreciated!

    You should take the gross number of you stats, not click to click tracking.
    I.e. conclusions should not be taken with only a few clicks or impressions.
    Ideally with thousands of clicks over several weeks.

    Do not look at partial stats!!!
    They are not synchronized, they are subject to change, they mean noting.

    it depends on where you're looking, some pages update faster than others so your summary page may not have information the breakdown pages have and vice versa. Just check the next day for the previous day's stats.

    if that's explanation isn't good enough, also consider the fact that google does filter out invalid clicks and you might have seen that.
