Guerrilla Mail provides you with disposable e-mail addresses which expire after 15 minutes. You can read and reply to e-mails that are sent to the temporary e-mail address within the given time frame.

Could come in very handy if you wanted to blackmail or send hate mail to someone! Apart from that, what's it's use?

This is an extremely useful tool. Everyone and his dog wants an email address everytime you do something on the internet these days.

Unfortunately, a high percentage of these people are selling and/or providing those email addresses to spammers/scammers/phishers and so forth.

I used a different email address for directory submissions to new sites listed here at DP and it has been inundated with spam. These throw away email addresses would be ideal for the task because they satisfy the directory owner's desire to have a valid email address and they satisfy my desire to not worsen the spam load on my mail servers.

It would be great for registering at those sites which demand email addresses to read "free" articles and which say they will "never" send you any more email after you verify your address.
