    This is aimed at people who have previously never considered selling their web site.

    Christmas has passed and the credit card bills may be piling up. So I am here to help :D

    I have a budget of $70,000 and am looking for some sites to add to my portfolio.
    The first person to show me a site that I really like may very well get my money.

    I am looking for sites that are at least 12 months old. Ideally they should also be pr4 or above.

    I am looking for quality web sites, so no proxy sites, automated sites, non-active forums etc....

    Please also dont ask me for $50,000 for a site making $200 per month :p I do use revenue as a basic guide to a sites value. I rarely go above monthly revenue x18, so bear that in mind.

    If you have a VERY large site, then I may be open to deals such as you retaining a % of the company etc....

    This is first come first serve, so PM me if you have a site that you may consider selling.

    If paid via paypal, they can recall the money weeks later...now you might be able to get back your site, but they will have all your code etc.

    Im not saying you will do this deano6410, its just happen to me before....

    With no Itrader feedback, and your fairly new...

    Good info dude.. But he has not mentioned that he will be paying through Paypal.

    So if it is a bit high amount in transaction, you can always go through escrow. I have sold a site and got paid through escrow, that is very much safe and they protect the buyer and seller equally.

    I was in no way saying he will or is trying to do it, it was more of a FYI. Since I got burned for 3k and all my data for a top site, I just wanted to protect other people. :)

    well my advice is this... if you have $70,000, don't buy a site unles its google or yahoo. just spend it for something useful..

    I got www.sleekstyles.net (PR4) along with www.sleekstyles.net/directory (PR3)
    Not much traffic but i got another layout for the main page and i can implement that layout into the directory as well if you want or customize it some for you if you like the current style.

    I have been a member of this forum for a long time. Many members will know that I featured on Digg.com and Slashdot recently.

    I am also happy to pay by escrow, so there is no need to worry there.

    I should also add that if you think $70,000 is a huge amount of money then you are not doing very well.
