Am stuck at $99.55!

This is just tragic! I had a few reasonably good weeks and got up to $99.55, and now have not had a single click for about a week and a half! I have adsense on 3 of my sites - and they get quite a bit of traffic... just nobody is clicking!

 

maybe you need to put your ads on better spot where people can see them better

nah, i am meaning $99 and the payout is at $100.

As far as daily clicks go - I haven't had a single click for 1 and a half weeks!

 

you should edit that in your post the % thing. Also you should try to blend your ads more without the border etc. match the tex

So, do you think that the boarder should be the same colour as the background? What are other people's ideas of this?

Oh, and by the way - I am not - and I really mean - NOT asking for people to go there and click on an ad. I am not saying it so that you will. Don't read between the lines or anything. I just want to know if I am doing something wrong.

Over the last 2 days I have gotten no clicks and a lot more traffic than usual! It doesn't really make that much sense to me, but I guess things like that happen every now and then. If you have a lot of the same visitors, it might be a case of them becoming ad-blind, but other than that I guess people just have bad weeks.

 

Forums usually have a very low click through rate. I think you should be using more ads on the page. I just see one ad on the page, after the first post.

 

Yeah, I was thinking about putting another before the last post - think that it will be better if people are looking at the just before they post.

So, what are you r opinions about blending? Someone was saying earlier to not have a border - i kinda like the border. Is it just me that likes it?

 

Er... sincerely, this looks at least "strange" to me: I've took a look at your forum, I would really expect CTR to be greater, at least a little, than 0% in a period of 10 days or so

 

I have recently upgraded the forum to vbulletin and had the same ad placement on the phpbb before that - but I am not misleading anyone. It was only for a bit over a week though. Now that I have the vbulletin, hopefully more people will be encouraged to stay longer on the forums and hopefully click once or twice.

How long has it taken you to reach $99? Why would people stop licking all of a sudden, are you still seeing relevant, targetted ads?

It wasn't really all of a sudden - it kinda started slowing down a bit and then stopped all together. I think the ads are pretty relevent. Oh yeah, and it has taken me nearly 3 months to get to the $100. First month and a half were slow - but have picked up and then dropped off again...
