I think you have missed the mark somewhat - you are clearly trying to write an article for someone who has very little understanding of what a webmaster is. Yey, you have used terms and abbreviations that are only used by webmasters yet offerred no explanation of what they actually are.

You aimed, low but wrote high and by doing so, the ones who would benefit most gain no benefit at all.

Hey man, cut him some slack. At least he seems to be making an honest attempt at helping people; not trolling and spewing negativity.

Being honest its far to broad, the traffic tips are the same tips said over and over in forums and wont get you any traffic worth talking about.
Eh its a forum meant for discussions and opinions.

Im not an article expert or great writer myself but being at the newbie end of the online spectrum, found the article to be ok.

It may not offer anything new to peeps who have been around a while but its clear, straight to point and is able to summarize everything down. Best part is not full of fluff, no attempt to push his own barrow or cause and try to profit via affiliate link sign ups. Nice try and keep on trucking - gotta start somewhere :)

Maybe write a follow up article like a series of related articles eg. next one on potential pitfalls, scams and traps to stay clear of as a new webmaster.

True but the if the article is written for a noob they'll have no idea what to do on myspace, leenk's, what an article submission site is why is it worth submitting to the site. Why should they spend ages writing content. If its not for noob's then its nothing that hasn't been said before. Just think its a weird article, but hey maybe got a few adsense clicks :)

I was just trying to make a general article as a " quick " starting guide,

SURE, there are tons of other posts on this forum and other, BUT most have affiliate links, or trying to sell you something.........

This was just a quick ,

" Get a website going in minutes " article

I never claimed to explain the art of being a webmaster ....sure there is more

Oh ....and If I wanted to make money from the article, I could have just added my affiliate codes and even masked them if I wanted,.......

This was just a kind thing...I wanted to do

    BTW......where are your articles?

All im saying is i thought it was to broad. Theres nothing wrong with wanting to make money from it, Adsense is used to make money no? I don't write articles it takes to long and isnt cost effective for me i do use regular article writers though.
