Since my site is not indexed on Google, some members told to re-submit the site's sitemap. I did it few days ago. It has been disapproved.
It looks to me that there are several extension possible but not .html....
    and my sitemap is sitemap.html
    Any thoughts?

As long as the code in the file is correct you could use mod_rewrite to rename the file extension.

The same problem occured for me. I submitted html site map and was rejected. Then submitted my site to automatically build site map builders especially .xml. This time things work positively. 110 pages indexed in google. Check it with my the site in my signature...

You'd better save it as xml file, it was standard and accepted by major search engines.

You can also do a sitemap that's nothing more than a simple text file (use the .txt extension) which lists one URL per line and G will accept it.
