Out of Curiousity...

Why are there so many specific jobs popping up in the Copywriting Forum? Of course, I don't really mind since I've been known to land a few from time to time, but there seem to be plenty showing up in the last few weeks.

Just to type this message, I had to check a box saying I realized this was not really the right forum for offering or looking for services. Is this forum just easier to find or is the old is "copywriting" really article writing debate starting trouble again?

Hmmm...I guess I should go do some work now and quit wondering about this kind of thing...

Oh, and why you're thinking about that, answer this one, too. We're supposed to have a severe ice storm(like the rest of the country), only it didn't hit the southern half of the city. (I'm near the coast)

So, why do all the cars in front of me today drive twenty miles BELOW the speed limit on DRY roads? There CAN'T be ice on dry roads, people! Is there something I'm not seeing here?

since jim answered your first querstion, i'll attempt to answer this one:

they are afraid that they might all of a sudden drive into a place where there's ice everywhere, and if that happens they won't be able to slow their vehicles in time.

 

Its becuase people think they can try to "wing" writing. People come on here, they say they can write an article, but they can't

They think you dont need experience, and their arrogance overcomes them, and they think they are the smartest people in the world becuase the have engineering degree.

Hey guys, look at me, i have an engineering degree, i can do just about anything in the world and be the best at it.

 

which reminds me. someone asked me what a self-help forum is. i asked him to take a guess and he asked, "is it a forum where people discuss on how to help themselves to things they want? why do you need a forum for that?"

 

I could understand if there were even patches of wet road, but there was not a single drop of moisture, frozen or otherwise, as far as the eye could see. It was very amusing.

Probably the same reason that here the grocery store shelves have been completely stripped of milk, bread, and eggs.
