    What do you all think of http://www.boardreader.com ?
    I just got added to it, for the ones that dont know its a search site for forums and blogs. Their spider crawls your forum or blog and when people search you show up on the results.

    Anyone else know of any other search sites like this that have a crawler?

    Never heard of that particular site myself, although I've just submitted one of my forums to see if it gets me any extra traffic.

    It will take a while for them to add your listings after they approve your site. I added mine a few months ago, they started crawling it but then something happened and they didnt push the last update to the web so I had to wait until the next one which was the other day.

    I emailed them and they reply back and are real helpful so hope they keep up the good work.

    I got an email back the day after submitting saying that I've been added to their list, no idea when they'll start crawling though.

    I submitted two days ago and heard nothing. It only took 3 seconds so not a big deal.

    It will be a pleasant surprise in a month if I hear from them.

    Good Idea though!

    If you go to blogger.com and go to the article promote blog it will give you a great over view of how to promote your blog. In the article the author also discusses were to sumbit your address to blog search sites and directories.
