Use some warm colors, the site feels cold. Use a better picture at the bottom, make sure its "cute". I also agree with the last post, introduction is way tooooooooo long.

 

You should consider using the Search Engine Friendly URLs extension for joomla.

 

You may want to beef-up your HTML Titles to help you get hits from people trying to find your services in the search engines. Use your most important keywords. Good Luck!

Excellent site! Topical and well researched, this has everything a pet lover could want- and if it hasn't it will find it for you! I am 'beyond' impressed! Top work!!. I am really amazed to hear that this site is designed by a teen boy. Do you want a link from my PR-4 dog website? But I do require a link for my cat site in your home page.

 

Only 14? That's impressive. I do like the colors, but for some reason the banner/image on the top left doesn't blend in very well.

nice site but i suggest you change the grey background to a 'happier" and more refreshing color such as light blue.

 

I think that would be a good idea, but I don't know how to do it. I wish I did. Can someone lead me in the direction please to where I can change it?

 

While the concept of scrolling down a bit to feel the intro is "good," I feel like the site is unbalanced. Drag that up - put a drop letter or something that makes us want to read it.

 

Sounds good, what do you mean by drop letter though?

 

I altered the background since I had a few comments about the grey that was there. I've changed it now.

 

Seems a little too plain and a little too blue. I would try cutting out some of the text and getting the page to fit within a 600 X 800 screen. Also, the logo appears to be lacking. Finally, the site feels too much like a portal script. Adding some nifty pet logos/characters for links and making the site a bit more playful is what it really needs. Pets and Cute need a cute site with some cute looking pets that jump out at you and grab your attention. Right now the site is rather boring.

I get what you mean. I did a vote on a another forum about what their favourite colours are and Blue came up quite popular. But anyway where do you think these pets should go? I can't fit everything on the frontpage since it will looked overloaded and I need to size the introduction as it is, where do you think?
