    Hi all

    selling www.golfing-gear.co.uk, which is an affiliate site linked to affiliate window. the site sells products relating to selected affiliates and also has adsense on the site

    details:
    PR5
    2,000+ pages indexed
    site online since Nov 2005
    income from affiliates and adsense
    SEO'd with mod_rewrite

    site makes from nothing to $2.00 a day from adsense, has made $129 since site was started
    also made £92 from affiliate window affiliates (has 4 affiliates, only one of these seems to make money)

    reason for sale

    I need the money for other projects and this has been left by the wayside a bit. the affiliate links/products could be updated (this is done via an automatic batch process, and i'll explain how to the winner) and promoted with link exchanges as the links pages is a PR5.

    extra details IMPORTANT!

    the site is setup so that new affiliates can be added easily (change one file) and you can even setup the site to sell other products not relating to golf, just change a few images and a settings table and you could be promoting anything that affiliate window does. I've done this for around 15 other sites using the same layout and scripts.

    No BIN, I couldn't work out the value of the site as easily as income x 12, as I feel the PR5 and ability to re-use the script for many more sites is quite valuable to the right person.

    what is the cost of keeping the links in place?
    the nice PR seems entirely dependent on the links from yourcgi.com

    also, I cannot see the site, can anyone else?

    Before bidding any further... I'd like to know if you developed the script (hence its custom) and if not, how is permission granted to use the script on other websites?

    Since the PR is dependent on the links from yourcgi.com, the PR5 doesn't bring as much value as you'd like.

    The script is custom written by myself. The value I put on the PR5 is that its PR5 now and should well be for the next 3 months at no extra cost. this is more than enough time to trade links with other golfing related sites, especially as the resources(links) page is a PR5.

    If I was buying a site i'd pay more for a site with PR even if it was paid for as it means link building is much quicker and I dont have to wait for the next PR update. Of course, its your choice to agree or disagree with this and your bid can reflect this :)

    yourcgi.com isn't my site, and i pay $35 a month for a sitewide.
