Can anyone refer me to the following:

a newsletter mailing service that features the following:

    -integration on my site
    -automated subscriptions to the newsletter
-ability to record more fields than just name and email (address, city, state, etc)
-ability to mail newsletters in custom html templates i have made (i do not want the service/program force me to use their templates)
-under $50 per month for this

Are you guys sure all of these places allow site integration and custom html emails (that is most important)?

by site integration, do you mean that you will host the newsletters and member list on your server?

If you mean getting html code for an email signup form that you can paste into your site, yes.

And for custom html emails, if you mean writing straight html code and pasting it into a box on aweber.com, yes.

By integration I mean putting a code on my site that allows them to do automatically logged signups through my site (they don't have to go to a third party site, and I don't have to manually process the subscriptions).

I have only recently signed up for Aweber and I think its great, for $19.99, unlimted emails and lists etc, loads of features worth every penny.

I was with constant contact but you can intergrate so well with them.

So with aweber you can integrate right into the site? Can you get additional features like recording (instead of just name and email):

    Name
    Email
    Address
    City
    State
    Country
    more...

    Let me know, thanks.

    Also, go here:

    http://www.Lucidly.com/subscribe.asp

Could I keep a similar form like that on my site and have that act as a subscription form through aweber? Do they allow integration like that, so I can put the form right on my site?

I'm be interested in hearing more info about this, too. Could you please also let us know how the import feature works? I tried the GoDaddy mailing service and it is useless to those switching from another mailing profider. Reason? - you will have to get all subscribers reconfirm their acceptance. Not very convenient IMO when you are trying to keep mailings number to lowest possible and avoid subscribers' discomfort by sending repeated "Please click here to confirm subscription" emails.

If you're doing a bulk import they will have to reconfirm, unfortunately. You can only do one at a time without the reconfirming.

Thanks for the info, good to know that detail, too. Well, that's better than nothing, although with a list of a few thousands I'd have to consider investing in some good coffee to keep me up :)

Going to try their service now..
