AdLogger 1.4.0 Released

Because AdLogger is discussed so much here on the Digital Point Forums, I'm making a post here to announce the release of AdLogger 1.4.0.

For those who might not know, AdLogger is a free, open-source AdSense tracking program. It tracks clicks and logs visitor information and can selectively disable ad viewing based on a visitor's click history or other info.

Most Notable Features in this new release:

1. Detailed information about which ad was clicked (color and format)
2. Know if a click was on an ad unit or a link unit.
3. Know how that visitor got to your site in the first place (Were they referred from a search engine? another website?). What's driving the clicking visitor to your site.
4. Know how long a visitor was reading your page before he or she decided to click an ad.
5. Nicer layout.
6. Much improved queries. Significant increase in performance and scalability.
7. Better performance reporting
8. Pagination on all the pages for faster loading time.

How easy is the upgrade from 1.21? new code wrappers or anything??

Yes, it is very easy to integrate with Wordpress. It just involves editing your template files.

How does it work with IE7 and some other browsers that don't show referrers?

 

I really like the new version, it is so much better in reporting now. There is more information now that you can actually use for reporting.

 

Thanks for the update. Keep us informed. Once the upgrade is performed with a few clicks, i will start to use it again. For now i think i should concantrate on other things instead of tracking adsense clicks.

 

Does the hover over problem is removed ?
It counts click for only hovering the ad..

Thanks for the update. The script is excellent and has aided me in many small but important ways. It is also very useful to give the records to google when suspecting click fraud/bombing.

How many times in what time interval does somebody have to manually or automatically click your ads in order to cause problems for you with Google AdSense ?

my main problem is that i have all site in html pages and adlogger only worked to php files. what about now?
