Over 3,000 Active Directories & New Alerts Service

I am proud to announce that this weekend Directory Critic topped the 3,000 active directory mark! This is a huge milestone, I had no idea it would ever get this big! The list would have been over 4,000 by now if we didn't keep it up-to-date.

Over the past 4 months we've also seen a huge increase in webmaster ratings, with a total of 2,750 now active. So thanks to all the directory owners that are sending their submitters to rate them, you should be rewarded with some extra traffic

The article directory list is now approaching 500 as well. So if you're not submitting articles to promote your sites, you really should be. There are many good article directories out there on strong domains.

New alerts service:

This morning I launched Directory Critic's new free alert service. Webmasters can subscribe to the service and once a week we will send you an email with a list of all the new directories that have been added to Directory Critic along with what's been happening on the site and any other link building opportunities.

You'll only receive 1 email per week, and we're running the service through AWeber so it's 100% can-spam compliant.

Can you guys also update the PR's for directories as well that are listed already ?

 

Yeah, I will run the PR update script in the next few days. I like to wait a bit after updates to make sure things are settled and the correct readings are given.

In the next few months the site is getting a total redesign and I will be launching a whole heap more tools, directories and services. In this update the directory lists will also be split into pages to improve loading times.

Masetek, it seems you have still not updated PR of each directory as many paid directories still showing Older?
