    It's going to be a development center. I don't think they will be shifting their financial transactions to India.

    Google has a centre in India and yet we get our cheques from Singapore.

    Lol doesnt really suggest there going to offer paypal to Indians rather there opening a phone support center in India since its alot cheaper.

    Indians will probably, then be able to withdraw directly to bank accounts, and maybe, they will issue a Paypal ATM card also!

    I know they are coming here because of CHEAP CALL CENTER.
    Also here in india there are many Programmer (Cheap).. So they are opening there Paypal Center here.

    It is not like the USA AND UK...
    But i will be very Glad if they release service like PAYPAL CARD...lol DEBIT CARD OR CREDIT CARD. No prblem.. Lets see when they come..

    Still thinking abt Paypal Horror Stories...


    Do any body know the exact date of Lunch ?

    i know there Customer Service is Really cheap..
    I just guess that they might be having only 10-20 Who handle the CALLS lol
    For email only one Spport desk Guy is okay for them... COPY PASTE WORK...lol

    In india if ever they come they will only come for hiring people from here. Many are doing that only... U can see now 10 Pass or 12th pass can get a Job in Call center.. That is Good in Employment sense but just thing how much they might be saving :rolleyes:

    Some more details..

    The centre will go live in July-August this year. Raj Sundareshan, V-P and GM, global product development, PayPal will be heading the Chennai operations. This is their first product development centre to be opened in Asia and third globally after Phoenix and Dublin.

    The 24X7 centre will work in co-ordination with the other two global product development centres (Phoenix and Dublin).

    The centre will go live with 150 people. The company plans to ramp up to 250 by the end of 2008. Mr Sundareshan said that job applications for senior level positions have already started flowing in large numbers. lol Try.. And help DP members.. Good luck..lol
