It's been going since October. Only 564 profile views. (and a PR of 0) But it's had 56,934 blog views (I linked straight to the blog entries, not to the main profile page). And how many friends? 102. I used http://livepr.raketforskning.com/ to check the PR. What are other people getting for their Profile and Blog?
In my case too: My two myspace blogs each have PR7. One of the profiles has Pr4 (200 friends) the other has pr7 (320 friends). Both around 1700 pageviews. the one blog has a staggering 5 readers - though more visitors because I show it here on DP. The other has 20something readers. So I guess myspace is real good on the PR front.
Well, it also matters a LOT how you measure it. You can use the 'official' URL that is something like: myspace.com/username or you can use the URL you find if you just go to your 'profile' page which is more like: http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile That last one is totally generic (the same for everyone) but shows PR4 for me. The first has a PR0 (for the most popular of the profiles I tested above). So the big question becomes: how did you test this?
Go to MySpace, create a new account, go to this newly created account blog, guess what? It has PR7. No big deal.
And I have another with a PR of 0. Which is much older. And shouldn't PR be measured AFTER a PR update?
