I think that after the response from vast numbers of people on similiar threads, we'll see most using WP, with Blogger coming a close second...

hrmmm, how much is much modified?

I use it too (wp) with a bunch of plugins, a new theme that I'm changing completely (got meself a pro graphics designer for *free* :D) but still I don't consider it to be *much* modified.

Are you talking about other serious modifications to wp... would like to hear about them if you want to share...

I'vew made some really heavy modifications to a WP1.2 install and have hacked around a little bit with 1.5...

The thing is, 1.5 will now do pretty much anything you want it to do with hardly any work at all...

I don't consider it to be *much* modified

Fine. But we envisioned our blog as not so much an interactive site as one that displays fresh 'topical' news.

Starting with the standard Kubrick theme, we've modified all the theme files so that we display our header, content, sidebar and footer info, including adsense where appropriate.

Just started my very first blog today and went with WordPress because of its favorable comparisons with Movable Type, because it's free, and because I could auto-install it with Fantastico in cPanel, which is always a plus.

Voted WP as my primary - no mention of B2 evolution, though, which is surprising due to it's distribution with CPanel Fantastico.
