What are other MySpace sites doing?

You can hardly pay your hosting bill with $.02 per click!

Has anyone found an alternative to Adsense smartpricing for MySpace sites?

The low ppc of others can't really be an argument when you are almost making nothing to begin with.

I wonder what those myspace sites are all about, and how they can get so much traffic?? is there a guide somewhere to create those pages??

i read on blog.. people set up a page in 1 day and than receive 400 uniques a day..

what is going on here. can someone share?

I appreciate the tutorial but what I am really looking for is if anyone running a MySpace resource site had any better success with other programs in place of Adsense.

To answer your question. There is nothing. Myspace site motenization is a thing of the past. YPN hates myspace sites. Adsense pays 0.02 per click. CPA is dead as convertion is zero.

You're best bet is to look into another niche or add insane amounts of content and get more 25-30k uniques to make $250-300 per day with Adsense.

Before everyone jumps all over this topic saying it's not true, it is, I ran a few myspace sites and I did very well while the niche was on fire (with ypn).

I have some very niche myspace sites so i get some cpa conversion for the niches but nothing great. Right when I was approaching $1,000 / mo I got smart priced, and then seemingly smart priced again.

But it seems that I make less and less each month while I need larger and larger hosting packages.

I am paying more for less. Not exactly the direction I want to be going in.

Have you tried using clickbank or some programs on CJ? I'm currently running a mix of Adsense and CJ on my site. ObsceneCaffeine.com, but I've not had enough time to get any kind of solid reading as of yet on what works. Still playing with placement and ad type.

I have not tried clickbank. I use azoogle which helps a little but a couple pennies a click is brutal.

I am busy trying Adengage on my myspace site, which pays 4 - 5 cents which aint great but better than adsense, plus it has photo ads which has images next to them to improve ctr, although I must admit I made more from adsesne even with this horrible smart pricing business, since I get very few clicks

Well a few can pay their hosting bill and more. Some heavily traffiked myspace sites make a lot. Of course, we all know of the example of one of them making $100,000 a month (even thouigh that came from a very reputable source, I am not convinced they make that much).
