Its the same in terms of SEO and ranking.

A .info or .ws can outrank a .com

    Doesnt matter.

Ohhh ok...I kinda thought so, just was not sure.

I just thought, in terms of people remembering the site, .org might be easier ?

Depends on the person. Its a toss up for that one for people in the US. For me I use .us before .org, but thats just because I like .us better. :)

.org sounds like a non-profit orgnization
    .us sounds more general.

I agree with AlienGG that the US isn't a NPO but you could buy both and have the .org point to the .us

If you are not US citizen you can't get a .us so if this the case then .org is the only option

Apart from this i believe .org is better it has some sense of internationalism

Nope, .us is only for US citizens or people with a real business presense in USA. Of course that doesnt stop some people from still registering a .us I would imagine...(those who dont meet the criteria)
