The Power of Forum Promotion

I have recently (read: today) launched a new blog titled My SEO Journey. It is basically yet another Internet marketing & SEO blog but with my twist on things. I have high hopes. It isn't a priority of mine right now but it is somewhere I can note down my thoughts and everything I am learning.

To kick the blog off I have made a quite lengthy first post about how to promote your website or blog via forum posting. I'd like to hear your thoughts, comments and suggestions. I want to rewrite the article based on your input.

Good read. You are right in that members of a forum who are established has more power to do what they want to do on a forum!

Thats nuts, maybe with posts like this i will achieve the same

 

There are many large forums which do not allow any forum signature, so what is the incentive for posting there?

 

Those forums are for people who are actually interested at the topic at hand, unlike us webmasters!
