how would you rate your experience of adding new diirectory? easy or too long?

 

i submitted 1 of my sites,but was wondering what to put when i saw this,as it depends on the catagory,exact URL where your directory accepts submissions only..also,125 word description is kinda high i thought.i stopped in the process..gl

I guess 125 is bit long, but why not. You might give it a little effort later on when my site hits PR5, or becomes more popular

When I am trying to submiting my web directory - Its showing error as - Directory Title*: No spaces allowed. -- I am enterting my title as - directoryworldonline and dir is http://www.directoryworldonline.com but still its giving me error.

I do not know where still space in my title.

Can you pls check and let me know.

That's quite a long submission form. I notice you also ask for the

But there are a lot of directories, mine included, that have a different submission page depending on which category you want to submit to. I just put an example submission page in that field. A lot of good directory scripts have this feature, because it's essential for larger directories. You should probably make that an optional field.

 

In that case submission page is the same as home page of directory

 

It would be helpful if you put in a note making that clear.

DirStats is still very new and I want to make it as user friendly as it can get. But it is not a search engine and some effort on your behalf is required to add godd quality listings.

So far 40 new web directories have been added, most of them were refered from this forum, keep them coming

 

Added mine - but why don't you accept spaces in titles?!?

Basically because each directory has a separate page and directory title is used in the filename eg: UKZone web directory review:

Another 12 web directories have been accepted, if you have any other opisnions to what should be improved, let me know. Regarding the submission prices about your directories, do not enter prices unless your directory is fully paid meaning there is no free submission at all
