Is there such a thing as a PHP IDE with a GUI interface? A couple applications claim to be. Does anybody use one?

I've heard of some (can't recall what they are though), but I've never tried any. By *far* the best editor for PHP (and many other languages) is BBEdit... only bad thing is it only runs on Macintosh. :)

I've used Komodo from Active State. It does a great job of editting and debugging but I could really use something more advanced. I'm not even sure if there is such a thing. It would be great though!

I use TextPad for Windows. Seems similar to BBEdit in that it has a lot of plugins for different programming languages.

Any PHP IDE can recognise the includes and display the whole page?

Sounds like you've stumbled on an idea to make a little money. Of course it'd be a fair amount of work, and most likely other people would catch on and steal your ideas.

I was looking for something like this a few months ago, and couldn't find anything that was completely GUI Interface, but I downloaded "Edit Plus 2" which has a "Show in Browser" option. Haven't really used it much though so can't give a full opinion, but it might be worth you taking a look at it.

Hehe... I forgot about what is probably the closest thing to an "official" one (Zend Studio).

Runs on Windows, Mac OS X and Linux too.

I don't have much information about php IDEs. But from all that I tried I think Zend is very good editor,

there is all for normal work here, but it isn't free (high price, almost 300$).

A little similar to it is Codelobster php edition (www.codelobster.com). Not bad, with basic features of php

editor, has small size. It isn't completed source. But constantly improves.

Also used Dreamviewer. I don't like it very.
