create page without html extention

    i have a page i made on a site, but the only way to open it is by typing the "html' at the end.

    Is there way to change it so i don't need the extention at the end?

    make a directory and name the file within index.html

    You will then be able to reference the file by the directory not just the file.

    Not sure if that will work for what i need

    What happened is i lost some word press pages, now i'm just adding them back in manually but i can't seem to make it work correctly.
