Invalid negative itrader rating from NON-PAYING bidder

FeatherTips won an auction for a link in my signature. He didn't pay up. I left a negative itrader rating for him because he is a non-paying bidder. He's left a negative itrader rating for me because according to him I didn't wait until "next wednesday" for payment, when infact in his PM he clearly tells me to "just let it go to the next highest bidder" & not ask me to wait.

At this point I left him a negative itrader rating because he's a non-paying bidder. He has left me a negative itrader rating too where he claims that I don't have any patience. This is not true as you can see from the PM above^^ he wasn't asking me to even wait till next Wednesday but to "let it go to the next bidder". This makes his itrader rating clearly invalid & retaliatory. Not to mention that I am not obligated to wait until next Wednesday & that I had clearly specified the auction end time in the thread to be 24 hours from the creation of the thread.

Please delete the negative itrader rating he left me.

I think Itrader is valid as at some point you had a dealing! If you look at ebay you still can leave rating even if you had not completed the deal...

 

Alvin, he gave me a negative because he didn't want to wait till wed. I found that to be a good enough reason to give the same..

He has left me one just because I left him a negative itrader rating, this is retaliatory. No other reason. Which is why I think it's invalid.

If everyone who leaves non-paying bidders negative itrader ratings gets a negative itrader rating in retaliation, this undermines the whole itrader rating system. Sellers shouldn't get retaliatory itrader ratings like this one for posting honest feedback about a non-paying bidder.

Not to mention that I am NOT obligated to wait until Wednesday, I had mentioned the auction end time very clearly in the thread.

 

you mentioned the auction end time, not when payment was due. I told u paypal deducted $ and u didnt give me time to explain it all, negative fbk received right away...

 

You did not tell me paypal deducted any money from your account. That's not my problem anyway but I may have been more considerate had you told me. I don't believe it now after reading through your earlier messages where you ask if you can buy it for 2 months etc & were just stalling.

It's common sense that payment is due when the auction ends.

 

You both acted prematurely. When you buy something on ebay people have few business days to complete the payment.

They need to fix up the trading system here... the one on sitepoint.com is somewhat better as far as setting up the trade goes but it's still not perfect.

 

I acted after receiving a message from him in which he said "just let it go to the next highest bidder". He never asked me for extra time, he just said that he was "a little low on $, don't get paid till next wednesday" & to "just let it go to the next highest bidder".

 

This itrader thing is crazy, imo...

I think you should be able to comment about the feedback you recieved, and if it was negative, this may solve some issues... just my oponion...

BTW eXe, i hope you get that negative itrader removed, its clear you didn't deserve it...

I am not sure whether that Itrader can be removed. It might get reduced to a neutral one IMO.
And exe, you aren't really the wrong party here

 

I'm pretty sure we don't need people like FeatherTips around here.
