    Hi everyone!

Im creating a digg-style website where users can 'mark up' or 'mark down' a video or picture depending on how much they like that video/pic. Im programming it in PHP and MySQL and it should live in about a 3 weeks.

But im having some trouble deciding where to place the ads. Which of these 4 works best do you think?

I would go with nice blended number one ..... of course there is more space for ads afterwards :D

Yup, number one is a nice integration as it follows the users as they go down your page

My vote is also for No 1. Nicely blended and definetly you can get better CTR.

    Its just simple psychology,

If the ads are showing relevant ads No.1 would do the best as it is placed right next to the video player so its bound to grab attention.

While if the player is set into "no auto play mode" the user has to click on the play button which is very close to the ads in No. 4.

Id say you could experiment with the two..the one that suits the best.
